It's almost 2016 and this week I have felt like painting. The joy of drawing, and thin washes of bright color and animals. So here are all of the above. How I enjoy seeing the pencil lines, the artist's hand. The thought and process visible on the surface. Might put these on the Etsy shop. Definitely in Artisans on the Ave in Lake Worth (Betty's Gallery).

Artisans on the Ave: Lake Worth
Thought I'd share a link. A really nice write up on Artisans on the Ave, Lake Worth, FL. Betty and Linda are as nice as they say. No, even nicer! Thanks to Lee Hershfield for the great write up.
And this is John McCoy in the pic, if you ever see me swilling coffee from GORGEOUS tall coffee mugs, he's the artist who makes them. I collect his cups the way some people collect butterflies.

New Large Sculptures
Just finished these large sculptures today. Very happy with them, and very happy to be done to be honest. It's taken a few months to create them. They stand in my studio looking like they're ready for a mission.
And me kneeling with them to show you scale. They really make me happy. So far their names are from left to right: Where the Wind Blows, Prophet, and Anastasia. Each one holds her wings. And Where the Wind Blows on the left has a grackle's nest (bird). I found it on the ground after a bad rain storm.

Lamps have gone to the dogs
I just finished the lamps I've been working on. Say hello to Frisbee Fred and Vicious Vic. A whole lot of fun to make and sitting pretty in my living room. Bringing them to Artisans on the Ave in downtown Lake Worth today. Watch for them lighting the night from the window.
