September Calendar Page

Happy Day! September is on the way. I love the sound of September partly because there's a happy birthday to my sister Virginia and me. Going to post images of some  new weird dogs I made later today or tomorrow. In the meantime, please feel free to use this calendar page for personal use on your computer desktop. Remember I always post a little twitter version @Vixterina.

July Calendar Page

Hello! I didn't forget the calendar page. I've moved house and studio and trying to unpack and weed things out and at the same time fractured ribs tearing out carpet. Who knew how painful a sneeze could be? It's been interesting. Hope you enjoy the calendar. We're off to London soon so it seemed perfect.

Welcome November!

For the past couple of weeks I've really been having fun Photoshopping my sculptures into lots of different vacation photos.  Feel free to download this image and use it as your desktop calendar for the month of November. I am going to challenge myself to make a new one for each month. I hope you enjoy it and if you do come on back in December for the next calendar.

Today I am posting a book cover I painted for a lovely client named Dorothy Littlefield. The book is her life long vision and I am honored to be a part of it. The artwork has been approved and is on its way to the publisher.

Without my ceramic studio I've been jonesing a little for making art. So, this book cover was just what I needed.

It is a digital painting and was created totally in Adobe photoshop using my wacom graphic tablet. The stars, the owl, the moon everything is digitally painted. It was really great fun to do. When the painting was finished it was brought into Indesign were I set the text.

I can't wait to see the book on the shelf of my local bookstore. Thank you to Dorothy and her sweet daughter Sharon. Hope you guys like it.
