Painting Project: Polo Pony

Here's what's kept me busy the past 2 weeks. A fiberglass polo pony that I painted. In the near future it will be on display at the Gardens Mall and then at the Polo Club in Wellington and finally it will be auctioned off to raise money for charities.

I received a copy of 500 Figures in Clay from Lark Publishing. It's an amazing book, filled with many wonderful sculptors. Very proud to have my figure JJ on page 230.

February Calendar

My Goodness. This kitchen redo has me so distracted that I didn't post my February calendar! Shameful. As you know we've only got 28 days and I've already missed nearly a week.
Enjoy this calendar. The sculpture is Skipper and Peg from my personal collection.

New Hobby Horse Sculptures

I have barely had time to be in the studio, barely. Why? Because we're redoing out kitchen. I've been told on average people do it twice in their lives, do you know why? BECAUSE IT SUCKS!
Despite the kitchen drama, here are my latest babies. Hobby Horse riding. I am exploring softer colors, and not as intense. What do you think?
