I have spent the evening bubble wrapping a new line of sculpture which will be sent to Florida Craftsmen Gallery tomorrow. As you may remember, the last body of work totally sold out during the summer. This piece is called comfort. It is made of clay and was fired multiple times with oxides, glazes, underglazes and slips. There are two drawers in the box portion: his and hers. I like the message written on the larger bird/persons chest. It says "Love is the greatest protection". And you may notice an improvement of photographic quality from my earlier sculpture. I got a photo tent for my birthday and I absolutely love it. If you are an artist or want to sell things on e-bay, check them out. For these shots I just sat the tent out in bright sunlight and that was it.
