Upon making the decision to quit my job I said "Alright Universe, if I have made the right choice please give me a sign." That very same day I received in the mail a copy of a beautiful book which includes my artwork, 500 Handmade Dolls, a large Graphic Design commission, and invitations to take part in two separate art shows!
One of the exhibitions was at Project Space, which coincided with Art Miami.
The other exhibition is a platter show based on Judy Chicago's, art installation The Dinner Party. I was compelled to sculpt the "guardian angel" platter (seen in the photos to the right).
The platter is hand sculpted from clay, and is unfired in these photos. I am not sure yet how I will glaze the piece. I am leaning towards keeping it sort of earthy by using oxides or by burnishing it with terra sigillata. If you have suggestions, please send them. I will keep you posted.

I love your Angel Platter. What a wonderful creation coming through you as an artist as well as an Angel Messenger Practitioner. I bet your fellow certified AMPs will love it, too. Perhaps a post on our newsgroup will be in order.
